In this article,we are going to see about various Projects in Mozilla.Mozilla is a global community of volunteers,like-mined people who work towards the Mission of OPENNESS,INNOVATION and OPPORTUNITY OF THE WEB.

Formed in the year 1993 by Netscape Communications as Mozilla Organization.Mozilla believes that Web is an asset of the people and ensures Web is in peoples hand.Mozilla is a Non-Profit Organization who see success with the people than share and stake holders.Mozilla fighting for the usage of Open Web standards,so that people can have complete control over the web.

What is the need of Open Web?

• Each corporate indirectly making people to use their technology
• Technology always being kept hidden from the people
• Deployment of an application across various platforms is very difficult

Mozilla proceeding towards its mission with the help of the following projects.If you are,interested in contributing any of these projects I would like to welcome you into the Mozilla family.

These applications are developed by the Mozilla community.

• Firefox for Desktop

  The Firefox Web browser has security, speed and new features that will make you to have a better web Experience.You can extend the functionality of Firefox using Addons.

• Firefox for Mobile

  Firefox to your mobile phone, makes you to enjoy Better web experience on the move.

• Thunderbird

  The Thunderbird email client includes spam filters, powerful search and customizable views.You can make your mails from multiple E-mail id’s to drop inside a Window.

• SeaMonkey

  SeaMonkey is the all-in-one application that includes,a web browser, a mail and newsgroups client, an HTML editor, web development tools, and an IRC chat client.

• Lightning and Sunbird

  Lightning is a popular calendaring, scheduling and task management product. Sunbird is a cross-platform application that provides calendering.

• Camino

  Camino  is a Web browser for Mac OS X that provides speed,security and new features.
