Hope you all are doing great. As you all know , Mozilla Summer Code party begins all over the world this Saturday ( JUN-23) .  I started my MozParty in my region with a session about Mozilla and MozParty . I had my first day of MozParty with an intro session on FOSS,Mozilla and MozParty in NEW MICE COMPUTER CENTER , Perundurai .

There are nearly 10 students attended the session , all are waiting to make into colleges after completing their schooling. So, they are excited to know about Firefox and it’s mission.

I started the session with an intro on FOSS , followed by intro’s on Mozilla and Mozparty. Next , I showed them how to use open web technologies using HTML 5 and finally into the Mozilla Web Making Tools.

I explained the need for Localization of Mozilla Firefox and students are excited and ready to contribute Mozilla. Swags worked really well . Happy News is , NEW MICE COMPUTER CENTER added FOSS and Open Web Technologies to their courses offered.

Started the Mozparty very well in my place , hope to continue the good work by taking Mozilla and Mozparty to various schools and colleges here.
